Does this look like a guy who doesn't put himself on the team?

Jerry Rice on Jackson:

"I know what he can do on the football field. I mean, watch out. He is the best route runner I've ever seen. I'm going to be honest with you, he is ready to make plays at the NFL level. He has a lot of work to do, but that's not going to be a problem. He is going to work hard and learn the offense. DeSean is far more advanced than I was at this point in his route running and he has great confidence in his hands. We all know what he can do when he has the ball in his hands. Even in the NFL, when he is out in front of guys, they aren't going to catch him. He is going to bring a whole new dimension to that team, because DeSean can put six points on the board in a hurry."

I'm excited.  Even the potential of a game-changer is good for me right now!
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

i take what Jerry Rice says for a grain of salt.  He works for Eddie Debartolo's agency, which has Jackson.  I just cant wait to see this kid on the field

I still wish the Eagles would get rid of their obviously-useless WR coach and hire Jerry.

Why would Jerry Rice have any interest in coaching other receivers?  More to the point, though, other than his incredible talents as a receiver, what makes you think he even has the ability to coach them?  History has shown that great players usually make for awful coaches.

I also think Culley's garbage but adding a guy like Rice who has no experience coaching at any level seems like a whopper of a reach to me.

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I think we need an in-depth analysis of the quality control assistants and interns.
