basically it was ok when i was all on the sixers jock even in january when they were 18-30 and saying look out for them


but now saying i think the flyers are gonna lose is inciting the board...essentially what it comes down to is you are salty because im picking against one of your teams and you cant handle it....homer

You pick against and bet against more often than not.

It's fine.  You're a passionate fan and you cover your emotional ass by assuming the worst and hoping for the best.  Although, it's much more hilarious when you actually get on board and your hopes are later crushed.

i know what youre are saying and there are times ill say "i just cant see them winning" and that when the losing gets to me...but ultimately if i make an official pick i dont let that stuff sway me....for example i thought the eagles were gonna be the patriots in the sb

You consistently pick the other team.  If it's the Eagles playing, you pick the Cowboys.  If it's the Phillies, you pick the Mets.  On and on, dude.  I don't know or particularly care if you're being honest here but just once I'd like to see just a smidgen of positivity from you instead of the usual "the sky is falling" rhetoric.

In fairness to igy almost every predicton outside of Philly has the Caps winning easily. I'm torn with this because the Caps played in such a pathetic division and were 8-8-2 vs. the East while the Flyers were 13-4-1 vs. the southwest. They've been hot but beating teams that suck and barely making it into the playoffs isn't a huge feat.
