I just found this little gem on a Flyers section of a hockey message board.

"One thing in the NFL, it's not the team with the best players (that wins). It's the team that plays the best as a team." - Corey Simon,DT EAGLES

I watched the Caps/TB game. TB gave them a good fight until the 3rd, then LeCavlalier got hurt and TB just couldn't hang. Huet looked phenominal.

with huet the caps can beat anyone in the conference...im not saying they will definitely go to the cup but i wouldnt wanna face them...ovechkin crosby would be the most sickening and the most exciting series ever all at the same time

Flyers/Oilers in 1987 was the most exciting series of hockey I've ever seen.  The Flyers had no business being anywhere in that series yet they still took it to seven games with heart, guts and skill against arguably the greatest team in history.

i have the whole series on tape and was at the jj daigneault game six...to this day the loudest ive ever heard any sporting event...its normally a cliche when you say you couldnt hear the person next to you but that night it was truth...i could not talk to my dad next to me it was that loud...like a loud concert basically

I was also at the 87 game 6...and game 3 as well, as well as most of the home games in the Rangers and Islanders and MOntreal series....and went to some of the games of the playoffs in the other 1980s series they were in. My dad was a season ticket holder from either 1975 or 1977, I can't remember. All the way up until my jr year in college (1993). I went to just about every single game with him as a child (70s-80s and when I could come home from college to go. That is why my dad got rid of his seats, because I couldn't come home enough and that was why he had them, for me.

IGY, don't go there with the "before you were born" shtein.

You'll lose. Like Adam Eaton in the 2nd inning, you'll get killed.
