Munson

I was talkin about the last few games. Tonight I got frustrated enough in the first period to avoid the game until the middle of the 3rd. It was on in the backround but I couldn't watch.

He was just creating a lot of chances for himself while Richards was out and that has seemed to cool off since he got back.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

ice grillin you

coburn was ridiculous last night...hes really coming into his own the last few weeks...the main difference tho is that biron is finally playing like biron...the offense is never going to be there which is why the goalie on this team is so key

and geo you should know better...and to help calm you down you can add pittsburgh to the list of teams the flyers cant beat in a seven gamer

igy gettin it done like warrick

So what's best case for them in the first round? Getting up to the 6th seed?

Yes.  They match up well with Carolina.  Plus, I would get to go to a game in my Boucher jersey.

I wasn't even talking about a seven-gamer.  They can't beat Montreal or New Jersey at all.

And, like I said, I do know better.  Damn team.

ice grillin you

id take a matchup against jersey over montreal or pittsburgh

montreal or pittsburgh series would get real ugly like buffalo a few years ago...a couple 8-1 7-2 games

at least with jersey they could stay in all the games and at that point you take your chances and hope biron can stand on his head and a guy like richards pulls a primeau type playoff out of his ass to pull an upset

They did their best to blow it but came up short. They might not win again this season.

they will beat the islanders once but otherwise youre pretty much correct

I was semi-serious, with the sloppy way they were playing and inability to hold leads combined with who they had to play the rest of the schedule optimism wasn't high.

STANLEY CUP!

They are playing better recently.  Prospal and Briere really have chemistry, and its nice to see Briere manning up thru his shoulder injury.  Coburn is a beast and the Gawd is the GAWD.  Nice game last night

Montreal and the Devils will run thru this team.  They can beat the Canes easily.  Ottawa doesnt scare me for some reason.  The Pens are hit or miss.  Honestly you have to go after Malkin to get him off his game.  He doesnt like getting hit.  Crosby will be back but his ankle has to be much worse than they have let on.

This team isnt winning anything this year clearly, but i want the younger players to get a feel for the speed of the game in the playoffs so they are ready next year

PG, you still want to say the Marty isn't the problem with the shootouts?

lol, he's an embarrassment
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.
