Steve Downie has talent, whether you choose to admit it or not igy.  He's only 20 and has been a point per game player in Juniors and had 17 pts in 21 games with the Phantoms.  You need not support his actions or style, but saying he "stinks" as a player is patently false.

do you really wanna get into how many hockey players have scored points in the juniors and/or the ahl and never amounted to anything in the pros...lets just say steve downie wouldnt be the first

I'm not arguing that all Junior Hockey all-stars become NHL all-stars, but there is nothing about Downie's past, in regards to his talent, that should allow you to dismiss him so easily.  He was a first round pick and has offensively performed thus far at every level.  Lets give him more than four games in the NHL to outright dismiss him as "stinking", shall we?
