For anyone who wants to watch Jerrroooou play, http://www.channelsurfing.net/
go down to the IIHF Canada vs Slovakia, it starts now.  Colton Gilles was farging people up yesterday.  Giroux plays on a line with Kyle Turris, who i wanted the Flyers to draft

4-1 win over Toronto breaks the winless streak  :yay

Since Stevens came out publicly saying the Flyers needed to play better in their own end fans and commentators will point to this game as the team responding. In reality they played the exact same way but Biron made the saves he was supposed to make. Their D really isn't much different from the beginning of the season, the difference is Biron isn't playing as well.

Lupul has a wicked shot.

Lupul is just wicked.  Great player at this point.  Joni has turned into a player for edmonton, but obviously it wasnt going to happen here.

Exactly. They are tied for last in the league in shots allowed per game at 32.6. Without Biron standing on his head this team isn't even struggling for playoff position.

I'd love to see them trade Hatch, and Jones.  Jones has been garbage since the Bergeron hit, and Hatch has played well, but if they can move him for salary reasons, you have to do it

I don't know about colossal, but he hasn't been what was expected from a scoring standpoint.  He does a great job on the PP and is a big reason for their being #2 in the league

Actually, that stat was before yesterday's game. Now they are allowing 32.7 shots per game. More importantly they are being out-shot by almost 6 shots a game. The fact that they've outscored their opponents while taking MANY fewer shots is actually pretty impressive offensively. Not so much defensively.
