i saw on cnn this morning that new york has its fewest murders since 1967...they were comparing it to 1990 when they had over 2200 murders

i dont know if the players hate the coach or hate the ownership but they clearly werent trying today....it was one of the worst performances ive ever seen a flyer team put forth....easily worse than any game last year

It's no mystery why they came out flat.  They knew they were playing Ottawa tonight and they totally overlooked a hapless Caps team.  They have no business overlooking any team, especially after last year, but that's what happened, at least in the first period and a half where they were totally dominated.  I do like the way they came back, though, even though they shouldn't have had to.

Huge win

I was cursing Stevens for not playing Nitty yesterday and Biron today. Nitty was erratic early but played well the second half of the game. Easily Hartnell's best game as a Flyer. Richards just continues to play like one of the best hockey players on earth. Briere is having a nice stretch of games. Flyers outplayed the Sens for most of the game and got a must deserved win.
