The Vs. announcers need to stop sucking off the Rangers. The Flyers are the worst 1st period team in the league.

well at least they get to finish this fun road trip with the Penguins and Devils

and before the end of the month they are at carolina twice and at ottawa

they will be at or below 500 by december...which is what was expected for the team this year...they had an over their heads kind of start...the key is to not let that fool you into thinking they are a contending team of any sorts this year...

scott hartnell needs to go to the phantoms....he is utterly worthless

Moving centers is what Flyers coach John Stevens did yesterday, switching Danny Briere and Mike Richards.

Richards will center the top line tonight when the Flyers meet the feisty Pittsburgh Penguins at the Igloo. He will be between Simon Gagne and Mike Knuble.

Briere will move between R.J. Umberger and Joffrey Lupul.

A change was needed but I think moving Lupol up to the top line and Knuble to the 3rd line would have been a better move.

Knuble has hands of stone, he shouldnt be doing anything other than standing in front of the net waiting for rebounds, and getting behind the net to dig pucks out.  I would be extremely happy to get him traded and have Downie in there instead.

Definitely PG.  Knuble really needs to be taken off the first line, Upshall should be on there.

The referee actually called a penalty on the Flyers with 1:27 to go in the game.

Knuble is brutal and I'm sick of watching him take penalties in front of the net when they're on the PP. Huge win tonight and they acually looked decent in the 1st.

biron is the league mvp right now...he so farging good and has carried this team on his back...when was the last time the flyers had a 1-2 goal thrid period lead against a good team where you didnt feel like they were gonna choke it...at no time did i not think they were gonna win last night (in the third period)

as for the line changes...theres not much you can do...they simply dont have finishers on this team...changing players around isnt going to improve the goal scoring...you gotta hope you get contributions from different players every nite...except gagne when he gets back healthy they might not have a 30 goal scorer on this team (richards in all likelyhood will)...this is why its so important that people like umburger and knuble and hartnell get their asses in gear...

They have 43 goals in 14 games, 10 of which have been played on the road.  They can score, IGY.  And like you said once Gagne gets back to full strength he's a 40 goal scorer almost guaranteed.

And I also think Lupul will eventually score 30 goals especially now that he's been paired with Briere.

PS: Knuble should be relegated to the fourth line.  He sucks right now and should have to earn his way back to the top line.
