I still have the VHS of Game 6...and then my mom taped the news coverage afterwards. On one of the 3 news channels, you could see a bunch of the players naked in the shower in the background while they interviewed Brian Propp. LOL

I also have this really cool montage that I THINK it was NBC, put together after they lost game 7. It was set to a few songs....some from "Top Gun" LOL (if you remember, they used to come out of the locker room to "Danger Zone" pregame...Hextall used to explode onto the ice. Loved that intensity)...and the last part was set to ELO's "Fire on High". The quality of the video is COMPLETELY SHOT from watching it so much/age.  I wish I knew how to get it fixed.

I wasn't at game six in Philly.  I was tending bar at Kix in Sea Isle with 250 other maniacs watching it on the video screen they had set up in the place.  When J.J. scored the goal the entire bar screamed and jumped in unison.  Bikers were hugging collar-popped college Romes, women were weeping... hell, even we stopped snorting blow in the cooler long enough to watch that game.

I think I made about 10 bucks before the goal about 300 afterwards with all the shots we sold.

Still one of the best days as a Philly sports fan I've ever enjoyed.
