two goals against the best goalie in the nhl and you still lose in a regulation shootout...the frustrating part is that biron isnt even competitive in the shootouts...its a farging pathetic joke...im not kidding when i say he should never participate in a nhl shootout again...i dont care if the game is 0-0 going into it

Nitty isn't much better with the shootouts but Biron is just downright awful. He's like a deer in the headlights. At least they came back and got 1 point.

Briere is starting to earn his pay. Nitty with 3 nice saves in the SO. Since you have the option of switching goalies for the SO maybe Stevens should experiment with Nitty since Biron is useless.

richards is insane....easily the best athlete in the city right now and he will go down as a top 10 philly player before all is said and done (and the second greatest flyer)

I'm personally loving how Carter is playing right now.  He hasn't been scoring a lot but he's been so disruptive every time he's out there he's hard to ignore.  It's hard to believe that a guy that big and that talented can play the role of pest so well.

i was just looking at the standings and its nutso in the east...the flyers have equal chance to get the four seed or miss the playoffs....getting sidney crosby on one of big bens motorcycles would help with the former

Westbrook and Rollins and maybe even Utley are better than Richards as far as athleticism goes. Richards is a pimp, but he's in no way "easily" the best athlete in the city.

I'd put those three above him...I'd say pretty much any basketball player is more athletic but I assume we're talking in relativity to each's sport...in which case I think those are the only three you can rank ahead of Richards. Maybe McNabb, when he was younger...
