Donovan McNabb is a whiny, coddled Latino that eats Jewish babies.

Phreak I respect your opinion but I think you're incredibly off base on this.  McNabb has said himself he's not a vocal leader and that he leads by example.  So far, through two games, his examples have been absolute shtein.  So if he's leading by example then what is the team expected to look like?

This team responded well to Garcia's rah-rah nature and have looked complacent by all accounts when Donnie is out there.  Why is that?

IMO, he isn't a leader.  He's another player on the team and he's looking for someone else to step up.  I think it's sad because if Don could get over his thin skin and nice personality he could be among the great of the greats.  He may be the greatest Eagle QB but that doesn't mean anything as far as Super Bowls and HOF go.

His time here is done.  He, Andy, you and I can see the writing on the wall.  He just can't handle it here.  Is it right?  I don't know.  But is it coming?  Yes, it is.

and these past 2 games summarize his whole career? the dude is injured. when he was not hurt, even with crappy WRs he was better than what he is now. the team responded to him then.

and im sure a lot of players prolly react better to guy like garcia when he gets pumped up (no homo) but you want mcnabb to fake that? if thats not in him he shouldnt force it. have you ever seen eli manning lead the pre game team huddle/speech? its pretty laughable. thats how this would be.

He's something like 9-12 since the Super Bowl.  I don't know if Kolb is the answer.  But this isn't acceptable.

What should have happened is Garcia/Feeley should have started the season.  McNabb is clearly not ready.

But my point about him being done is more of the fact that the writing is on the wall.  The Eagles draft Kolb.  They start to put the spin on it and are distancing themselves from them especially the black QB comments.  It's not going to end well for Donnie here.

well obviously it helps the FO if they create a excuse sort of to get rid of him since he isnt that old and when he becomes healthy he might have a good run or 2 in him still to go to the playoffs.

i agree with you if he is not completely healthy he shouldnt be starting. and if he is starting still he should be helped by catering the gameplan to what he can do and what he can not do. sort of like what we did with garcia. thats what confuses me so much about this whole mess.

maybe andy gave up the play calling last yr because he was saddened that without mcnabb he couldnt pass so much?

Whatever the case.  I think most people can agree this sucks and if we go 0-3 we have a HUGE problem on our hands.

we already have a huge problem on our hands

I get it.  It's a subtle fat joke about Andy Reid.

SunMo

actually, no.  a straight forward post about this team being 0-2

First the AIDs blanket and now this.  Why can't you just play with emotions and pretend to be telling a joke?

I'd agree but that would just start even more controversy/shtein and the media circus would spin WAY out of control.

why would you even say that you agree with someone who agrees with your original point?

you really are a water headed douche

Learn to read. He edited my post, and I was saying I'd agree with the edit but it wouldn't be worth all the media attention the team/fans/McNabb would have to deal with.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Way to drive the point home about how wrong you are.

Oh no!  Let's not cause a stir in the media over Donovan!  Better keep him on the field, even if he's too injured to play at an NFL level!  Yes!

Chode.

The eaasier, lest controversial solution, would be to run the ball more. The team is distracted enough, it doesn't need to deal with the shtein storm that would be McNabb's benching.
