Donovan McNabb is a whiny, coddled Latino that eats Jewish babies.

i guess him moping around with a towel on his head when they are losing...that's an opinion created by the anti-5 crowd?

honestly you guys do not know what you want. you want him to not laugh/grin...you dont want him to be upset...to speak more...speak less...you do not want him to do anything and everything. its not going to happen. i do not care really how he reacts on the sideline as long as it helps him get back on the field and correct his mistake.  if laughing it off gets him to calm down than so be it. if putting a towel on his head does it then so be it.

seriously we are discussing how a player reacts to a bad play on the sideline now? at least before you guys stuck to his accuracy problems...now its going into some really weird angles.

shorebird, do Donovan's balls taste good?

And again, when you have nothing else, your penchant for homosexual acts shows it's face. You have been wrong again about McNabb in this thread, so you do what any other hater does when backed into a corner, throw insults.

Whatever man, pad that post count.

you claim that the opinions of him being a whiney bitch are unfounded and made up, i bring up an example and now you call it "weird"

Would you rather have him standing there with a big grin on his face like he used to after a incompletion?

I'd mope also if I were called upon to execute the lame ass gameplan he had against the Skins.

i'd rather he be up in someone's ass getting things straight on the sideline

You mean like TO did to him? Call someone out on the sidelines and make a big scene? Yeah, that would work real nice.

thats what i mean when i say they dont really know what they want from him. they want him to be fiery but not cause a scene. to not speak but also to speak.

and the towel thing...thats how he is whiney bitch because he is upset at himself and throws a towel on his head. plus mcnabb is not the only player who puts a towel on his head when upset or when losing. i guess all players who put a towl on their heads are whiny bitches.

TK and Wilbon defend McNabb on PTI, as does the Around The Horn crowd...

Stop bitching about the bitcher.

McNabb > Any QB this team has had. Who cares if he's opinionated in a way that you don't like. He is not what's wrong with this team. Reid's refusal to run the ball when McNabb has a bum knee is what's wrong. End of story.

Wrong. I could say that when comparing Donovan to the rest of the QBs in the NFL we see a guy each week who has a pretty damn good winning percentage, who makes plays and who is regarded by his peers and coaches in the NFL as one of the game's elite.

You just described Michael Vick. Is Michael Vick a good quarterback? Is his attitude, subjective as our opinions about it are, above reproach? Of course not. You guys just can't bring yourselves to criticize that which you've come to rely upon. And it's really very sad.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

See this is the thing that drives me nuts...how do you know he's moping? He always has that damn towel on his head. They hand him that shtein along with the visor when he gets to the sideline.

So because SunMo and others perceive him as moping, it becomes fact when interjected into discussions. That gets the ball rolling when said on radio and TV and then other fans pick up on it as fact. We're not in his head and when peole speak as if they are it is wrong, IMO.

You want to see him yelling and screaming at people...but what does that do? Some people just don't respond to that. Some people just aren't wired like that.

For example, I caught some of the Pittsburgh game where they were talking about how Roethlisberger told the coaches that he tunes them out and doesn't respond well to being yelled at.

And how many times, because I know I have done this myself, have you seen someone try to act like you know that's not how they are? Like you see a normally quiet guy who is all of a sudden mouthy and in your face. I'm like "what the fargs up with this dude, he's never been like that".

So because you think he's moping, he is, correct? And that supersedes anything he does on the field because if he has a bad series or whatever and tosses the towel on his head, bam, he's whining.

It's a perception vs. fact thing here....

Phreak I respect your opinion but I think you're incredibly off base on this.  McNabb has said himself he's not a vocal leader and that he leads by example.  So far, through two games, his examples have been absolute shtein.  So if he's leading by example then what is the team expected to look like?

This team responded well to Garcia's rah-rah nature and have looked complacent by all accounts when Donnie is out there.  Why is that?

IMO, he isn't a leader.  He's another player on the team and he's looking for someone else to step up.  I think it's sad because if Don could get over his thin skin and nice personality he could be among the great of the greats.  He may be the greatest Eagle QB but that doesn't mean anything as far as Super Bowls and HOF go.

His time here is done.  He, Andy, you and I can see the writing on the wall.  He just can't handle it here.  Is it right?  I don't know.  But is it coming?  Yes, it is.

Yes, he's played like shtein.

Yes, it's mostly because he's no where close to 100%.

Yes, Reid, THE GODDAMN COACH, should recognize this and run the ball more.

I'd agree but that would just start even more controversy/shtein and the media circus would spin WAY out of control.
