Donovan McNabb is a whiny, coddled Latino that eats Jewish babies.

I blame Ried for the second game because of terrible play calling and not coming into the season with a compatant backup when your franchise player is coming off reconstructive knee surgery. I blame Lurie also for not wanting to pay Garcia, who wanted to stay here.

Racism is alive and well in every facet of our society.  So farging what?  None of this bullshtein has anything to do with race.

It has to do with McNabb being an attentionwhoring, coddled child.  He's getting the publicity he and his family want for him, so who cares what the result to his team is?  After all, in his mind they really don't care about him at all, right?  If they did, they certainly wouldn't have drafted his eventual successor already.   :-D

Pro football is a result-oriented business.  If you don't get it done it doesn't matter what color your skin is, your ass is gone, period.

For all of his on-field skills, McNabb's annoying penchant for drawing attention to himself, especially in a negative light, is growing more and more intolerable.  I can't for the life of me understand why he's decided to go down this road, but whatever. . . maybe the writing is on the wall and he's decided to get proactive about it and force his departure rather than waiting around for Kolbsy to take the reins from him in a couple of years?

Either way it means a long and difficult climb back up to the top for this group, especially with guys like Tra Thomas, Runyan, Dawkins, Kearse, Spikes, etc. coming to the end of their careers sooner rather than later.

yeah but some even question his desire to win

its not a desire to win that he doesnt possess its a hatred of losing...he also has a huge probelm dealing with adversity...when everything is going smooth hes nerdy happy go lucky unfunny donovan...but the minute times get tough hes sulky crybaby give up and blame all the fans for my problems donovan

ill also take the desire to win thing one step further...his hatred of the people who booed him at the draft and his wip critics and eagle fans in general causes him to not wanna win as much as he should...deep down in places he would never admit too there is a desire in him to not wanna win a superbowl because it would give the fans what they want

I'm asking semi-seriously here.. has anyone ever laughed at anything he says?  Because after I read that and he really is so unfunny.  :-D

ice grillin you

actually the injury is an excuse imo...hes played 8 quarters nine months after an inury many dont come back from for a year and an injury that keeps you from being 100% for two or more years...the injury is 90% of his problems now...

what isnt acceptable is his reaction to his latest struggles...dont come out and bash the fans again because youre going thru a rough time..buck up and try to fight thru it..hell come out and instead of some diatribe on black quarterbacks give an interview where you talk about how hurt you still are and how tough it is playing in an nfl game less than a year after an mcl tear

its not fair to your teammates to put your teams fans on blast because youve had a couple tough games
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

the interview was done before the games were played from what I hear. Even so, the fact he decided to this crap all over again shows his lack of leadership again. He wanted to be hero trying to come back early, now its showing and hes kicking himself

Now he'll throw for 300+ yards and 3 TD's against the Lions  :-D

These McNabb debates make my loins wet. Haven't seen a good one in awhile.

I just took a huge dump

In this thread, wouldn't it have been more appropriate to make a racist comment like "dropping the Huxtables off at the lake" or something?  I'm just thinking on the fly here... Munson's the expert on racism and rjs is the expert on taking dumps.

Phanatic

All the taterskins had to do to shut down McNabb was play man to man bump and run with our weak ass receivers and instead of using the run that was working really well they stayed with the pass all day. Didn't even attempt to use the run to free things up else where. McNabb is struggling right now but there are a ton of other guys on this football team and if the sun rises and sets with one guy for the team to win or lose then it'll never work.

Watching these recievers reminded me of the days of Thrash, Pink and Fred x. Yeah McNabb's struggling but the only part of the offense that isn't struggling right now is Brian Westbrook and he's only got 2% of the play book....

umm ok that makes no sense. he did the interview b4 the season so it had no affect on the team or his play the first 2 games. and what is "this" that your talking about? the interview or the fact we are 0-2? how does everyone have inside information into what mcnabb is thinking or what reid is thinking. how do we know mcnabb thinks they dont care about him? did he say as much? or did igy read his mind again and then text you the scoop?

it seems that everyone is transferring their anger from the team, mcnabb, and reid being 0-2 onto this interview as if monday night after losing mcnabb went to HBO and said "hey guys i suck right now i need to take the heat off of me by raising a racial question....can you help a BROTHA out?".

the interview seems rather harmless to me personally cause it doesnt say anything new and nor does it say anyting out of this world.

very true but very pointless. what this point even being brought up?

right so when rush calls him out..mcnabb drew that attention. when TO called him a FO guy mcnabb asked for it. when the NAACP president calls him out for not being black enough, McNabb asked for it. man that evil mcnabb always asking for negativity.

and how is he forcing his departure? another thing about this whole situation i dont get. not only did he apparently say black QBs are treated differently but simultaneously he asked to be traded?

more like it will be a long and hard climb back to the top when mcnabb leaves and all these old veterans retire or are let go and reid continues to coach and refuses to address the real weaknesses on the team and keeps building for a tomorrow that will never come under his tenure.

umm the interview was done before the season started. i have not seen the entire interview but im willing to go out on a limb and say he didnt just randomly say "hey JB you know what...your black and so am I so let me tell you about being a black qb in the NFL"....more like the conversation was steered that way. mcnabb took the bait but in reality what did he say that so outrageous or causing this uproar? that black QBs might not get a fair shake all the time? WOW WE NEEDED MCNABB TO SAY THAT FOR US TO KNOW THIS? why is everyone shocked by this? cause mcnabb said it? cause we are 0-2 and all we wanna hear from mcnabb is some tired and made up lines we have internalized from sports movies?

its as if everyone just woke up to how mcnabb feels as a black qb. we all know that he felt pressure, whether real or not, to prove himself to be a pocket passer as opposed to a "black qb" who can scramble. the fact he has both ends of the spectrum, from rush to a black activist grp, questioning him that he prolly knows deep inside that he is being watched under different lights than the white qbs.

how would he prove to you that he hates losing? how does anyone prove to anyone they hate losing? saying it in as many words? well if he hasnt said "i hate losing" has he said "i dont mind if i lose?".

again its all YOU thinking what YOU wanna think about him. you have no source, no inside knowledge, or anyway to detemine how much he hates losing. and hes always the unfunny mcnabb...losing or winning. in fact i would say thats one of the best things about him (not that hes unfunny) but that it seems like a loss doesnt put him down to the point it carries over into the next week. see how easily i can turn what you consider him not caring into OMG WHAT A LEADER!

and right so hes putting his career and his health out on the line by coming back early even though deep down he doesnt want to win it for this city or its fans? if he really felt that way he would have asked for a trade a long time ago. he wouldnt just be unhappy in a city where he doesnt wanna be and with a fanbase he doesnt care for. its just speculation and BS. you sound like you know more about him than his wife would i bet.

I don't even know where to start, frankly.

I thought my comments made sense but apparently not to everyone.
