No like, how I called the Eagles would make the playoffs after McNabb went down last year.

Just because my view of the Eagles is only slightly more positive then the general whiny bastiches on here doesn't make me wrong. Infact, considering the team has made the playoffs 6 out of the last 7 years, I think the "homers" have proooobably been right about a hell of a lot more then the sky is falling this team blows corner.

That being said, please find a coach who knows what a running play is. A coach who knows his best weapon is wearing 36, not 86. If he doesn't change the way he coaches, this team isn't going to make the playoffs or contend for a title for a long long time. Hey I have a good idea...lets pass 40 times a game with a starting QB who's 9 months removed from ACL Tear.

-If reid wants to throw the ball 70 % of the time fine... but why in hell would you not spend some money on receivers then? I mean ok I hate to say anything good about TO but when he was here nobody really gave a crap what the run/pass ratio was. Its not that we cant throw the ball, its just that we cant throw the ball with these receivers!

what drug issues did stallworth have? was he suspended for anything or fined?

i just know they took the injury excuse and ran with it...where as we have plenty of injury prone guys already on the team who always make the teams so that was just BS. and he didnt really get a huge contract so he wasnt really asking for too much. TO had to go but not re signing Stallworth might be one of the dumbest moves this FO has ever made...esp if Curtis continues to play like he has.

You're right about the injury stuff... the eagles obviously didnt treat McNabb the way they treated Stallworth... must be because Stallworth is black

Actually, we haven't seen what these receivers can really do, with the suck ass way McNabb has been throwing. Not one single pass did I see hit any receiver in stride or on the numbers until the late in the fourth quarter. By that time is was too little too late.

Regardless, we need to run more to win.

That's horseshtein.  Brown has more drops than catches (if not, it's close).  Curtis can't get open, I'd expected better.  Thank God for Baskett and Avant, though.  The starters have been overthrown, but they haven't shined either.
