The last 2 weeks, Russell picked against me.  I won the matchups by an average of well over 20 points, maybe 30.

Russell picked against me this week again.  You're farged, Chris.  Ha!

Much like the shtein ass NFL team that I follow, my fantasy team folded like beaten puppy. farg you Eagles.

Hilarious:  Our commish (rjs), who has 1 win on the season, traded Torry Holt for Matt Schaub recently.  While some of us contested the trade, it went through.

This week, he played Schaub, and his opponent played a guy named Tom Brady.  I also think his kicker (Rackers) scored -1 point.

This is high comedy.

BTW, even though I picked up Northcutt to play if Harrison is out, I'm thinking I'll leave Harrison in regardless and sit on my 36-point win.

Much like in Bugs Bunny cartoon where he sleep walks through a construction site while girders line up under his feet & avoids falling objects, my fantasy team has mindlessly wandered through the first 6 weeks while my oppponents forgot to set their line ups, their starting RB's got injured & my week 1 loss miraculously turned into win during week 6.

My Mr. Magoo-like run through the season continues as I replaced the Ravens D (bye) with the Seahawks D (also a bye) and went up against the highest scoring team in this league, who averages 109 points/game.

Fortunately, Tony Romo & Edgerrin James had byes & she only was able to put up 52 points. I fully expect my next opponent's starting QB & RB to have some kind of freak auto-erotic asphyxiation accident this week.

Bad:

Marvin Harrison didn't play and has proven to be completely awful this year after I used the "I've never had him on a team so I should draft him this year" logic.
Larry Johnson was on a bye.
I swapped in Andre Davis for Chris Chambers yesterday, believing he'd get more points (wrong) because the Texans would be playing the whole game from behind (right).

Good:

After using my 3rd position in the waiver order to get Jesse Chatman, he got a respectable 9 points for me in LJ's absense.
Rivers had a very nice game.
I'm up 7 with with my Greg Jennings going against his Jason Elam and should improve to 6-2, one game behind the aforementioned 7-1 Monkey Spanks, who I defeated last week.

i was up by a pretty good margin near the end of the 4:00 games yesterday, then all of a sudden the zombie jumped like 15 points closer to me.  i then saw that lee evans had an 85 yard TD.  that most likely did me in.

oh, and i didn't play a kicker at all because you can't make any moves over the weekend.  which makes total sense.

A few weeks ago, I picked up the skins D on Sunday and played them.   I also picked up Northcutt last week in case Harrison couldn't play and I needed a Monday night replacement.

rjs probably just blocked you from transactions because he's the worst commish ever.

rjs246

You can definitely pick up players on the weekend, smart stuff. And don't worry, my players will find a way to put up goose-eggs for you tonight.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

phattymatty

i tried to pick up a kicker on sunday morning and it said it would go through wednesday morning.

rjs246

Hm, I haven't ever waited until Sunday to pick up free agents for my players that were on a bye so I have no idea what you did wrong.

Oh, and I blocked you from making transactions because I'm still holding out hope to win the league!

Is it possible that kicker was recently dropped and was, thus, on waivers and not a free agent?

phattymatty

well it was like 11 AM and i  tried to add a kicker and drop a D that were both playing at 4, so i'm not sure what i could have done wrong.  i just figured it was part of the great cbs sportsline rules.

This is the most likely answer.
