1st place:
Beermonkey proves he has horseshoes and clovers up his ass and wins by 1 point to go to 9-1.

2nd place:
My team puts up 47 points and after last week's injury to Larry Johnson, Adrian Peterson gets hit in the knee by Al Harris.  Season over.

paco loses to the Tom Brady team with Brady on bye and also loses Marshawn Lynch to injury.

Ridiculous.  Oh and "Village People" put up 130 points despite Santana Moss in the lineup.  Wow.

I played the wrong defense   :boom
I'm not from Philly but some say I'm blunt.

I literally do not have another RB to play along side Jesse Chatman this week.  Brutal.

7-4, here I come.

ow the hell does the waiver wire in this league work?  5 or 6 weeks in a row now i've tried to pick someone up, only to have him snagged by someone else.  yet i haven't moved up in the waiver wire standing.  i don't think there's any rhyme or reason to it.

rjs246

Players are on waivers for two days after they've been released and every free agent is on waivers between Sunday at 1 and wednesday morning. Every time you claim someone off of waivers, even if it isn't your first choice of player, you move to the back of the line. So let's say you want to drop Reno Mahe for Priest Holmes, but think you might not get him so you also put in a claim of Reno Mahe for Maurice Morris. Holmes gets grabbed before you get to him, but you've still got the Reno for Morris claim out there. So that goes through and you drop to the back of the line.

Also, my team sucks and I just beat the highest scoring team in the league. My season is now a success.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Thanks for that, by the way.  You helped me and paco keep 2nd place all to ourselves.

I still can't believe Chris has 9 wins and Ellen has 6.

phattymatty

thanks.  i know how waivers work.  my point is that i haven't picked anyone up off of waivers yet, and somehow still haven't moved up in the order.  there is no way that the people in front of me also haven' picked anyone up.

rjs246

Actually you are third on the waiver list and the people ahead of you are notorious for doing absolutely nothing with their rosters. One guy didn't make a single move last season and the other hasn't been heard from once since like week 3. SO SUCK IT! Thanks.

It's extremely sad that Chris Brown's actual playing status and availability as a FA in the league is the luckiest break I've had this year.

The fact I'm 7-3 is a testament to my insane post-draft GM skills.  Stephen Gostkowski is the only player I drafted that is starting for me this week.

It's really not cool that I managed to win against better teams and lose against all of you shteinheads and your awful teams. shteinheads.

18 points is a tall order for Chris Brown.
