By the way, my first three draft picks in this league were Travis Henry, Thomas Jones and Terrell Owens. Out of the 14 players I drafted those are the only three that are still on my team, yet somehow I have a 4-game winning streak and am in the top half of the league in scoring.

Best GM ever. Worst drafter ever. EVER!

Quite ugly, indeed.  Greg Jennings is the highest-caliber player I started.  Injuries to Marvin Harrison, Larry Johnson, and Adrian Peterson have taken their toll.

At least AP comes back this week.

Yeah, I think it's 8.  I just (incorrectly) assumed you had 8 wins already and were in, so I was confused.

The top 7 teams are in, with various jockeying for position to be done. Matt's in the 8th spot if he wins. If Matt loses the winner of the ZombieApocalypse/Alaskan Pipeline game will almost certainly surpass Matt in the points tie-breaker and sneak in to the last spot.
