The first one was a definite hold, I thought the second one was ticky-tack though. But then again it's Mike Carey's crew and they're the ones who got everyone's favorite BYU product Scott Young in NO last year.

But even when he wasn't holding, he wasn't his usual self. I guess he'll need another week or two to get into game shape since he missed all of camp and the PS.

Jamaal Jackson missed ona few blocks yesterday too.

Yep, it was really noticeable when he was pass blocking because he wasn't balanced. His lower body was too far behind his upper body...so he was off balanced and top heavy.

where the jeff garcia, he had the heart of a champion
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Special teams problems.  Now we are back to this?  The fargin cycle of hopelessness.  Knock the fargin rust off already, the season started yesterday for christ sake.

The refs were an atrocity yesterday.  But the good news was, it was awful both ways, so probably didn't have a net effect.

Anyone but Reid.

QB Eagles

McNabb was crappy, but part of that was due to the true worst player on offense yesterday: Reggie Brown. Dude could not get open all game. McNabb kept looking right at him, then looking elsewhere because there were Packers all over Brown. It's gonna be a long season if the #1 receiver on the Eagles can't beat out any defenders.

MadMarchHare

Actually, it would be awfully familiar.
Anyone but Reid.

But now McNabb can't buy the time he used to.

Heck, Trotter could probably run him down.

McNabb was rusty yesterday, but Isn't that to be expected? I agree with QB Eagles also, were the heck was Brown the whole game?? What did he have, one catch?

Greg Lewis cost us that game yesterday, plain and simple. He looked lost out there. I've never seen such a terrible return game as we had yesterday. It was awful. And the bad thing is, it won't get much better unless they put Westbrook back there, or someone who can at least fair catch the friggen' ball. What the heck was GL thinkin'?

On the bright side, the defense looked decent, and we had success running the ball.

I don't think so. McNabb was running out of tackles yesterday, not all the time but he showed good mobility to me considering he's playing on a knee thats around 80%.

He was breaking tackles, but he seemed darn slow.  It was even mentioned in the game thread - by more than just me.

Could be the fact that the knee isn't 100%, but he seemed slow to me.
