yeah see you can name a number of other games, not in his rooke or 2nd yr, where he looked worse.

im not saying he looked like his old self or that he was amazing...just that he wasnt as bad as some ppl think and even if he was that bad you kind of have to expect some bumps in the recovery. the whole point was that when you know your qb is hobbled, you protect him and run the ball esp if he cant seem to find anyone open or seems to be holding on to the ball for too long.

The games you guys are bringing up are terrible games by McNabb.  But I still don't think they were worse than he looked yesterday because those teams were just beating the Eagles down.  The Packers weren't doing that yesterday.

and the jax game...reid prolly thought mcnabb would prolly throw bullets thru the air into the chests of the WRs and leave them looking  like 50 cent.

in fact his infatuation with bullets is what prolly caused his sons to go get guns.

The JAX game last year and the WAS game at the Vet in 2001 were his worst that I can remember. I think they lost to WAS like 13-3 and Donovan was putrid.

Yesterday he was off. It had nothing to do with his knee, IMO. It was all about the timing not being there and the OL getting blown back. Herremans and Andrews got pimped a little too much.
