Seagrest needs to be hung up for not explaining to JR Reed to not attempt to get the ball unless its coming directly to him.  Thats basic coaching.

You'd think with the special teams being such an obvious problem, the offense would have really gotten it together and put the game out of reach.

Yesterday was the first game in forever 'THE EAGLES' didn't run one of those fake hand offs to the left, play action, throw it deeps, which I wouldn't have minded seeing.



I feel good knowing that Reid shoulders this loss. It's big of him to do. I feel totally, totally good now about yesterday's game and this team. Go Eagles!

mcnabb looked like vomit? lol he didnt look like himself but he wasnt terrible. and you know what a good game day coach would have recognized that hey maybe my QB is not having the best of days...and he is coming back from a serious injury...you know maybe i should just use westbrook, buck, and even hunt a lot more. the run pass ratio might have been good considering this teams history but in the 2nd half it was atrocious. it seemed like we played the whole 2nd half out of shotgun.

it reminded me of that game against the pats a few seasons ago where mcnabbs thumb was hurt and the pats were absolutely killing him with hit after hit and reid kept calling passing plays and i feared for mcnabbs safety.

McNabb looked bad dude.  It seemed like he was overwhelmed at the speed of the game or something.  He was definately looking at the rush more than he was looking downfield and that's a mental thing that he's going to have to overcome.  Right now his tendency is to probably protect himself first before looking to make a play.  He did do a few things well but overall I'd say this was easily the worst game of his career.

i know they did that misdirection chest pass toss to westbrook twice yesterday on 3rd and ones but something they need to do a lot more of and this has been the case for years now is toss sweep westbrook more...they run him between the tackles way to much

I'm really hard pressed to think of a regular season game where he's looked worse.  Maybe when he was a rookie or 2nd year player but the expectations weren't as high for him then either.  If you know of a game, say in the last 6 years that he looked worse in then by all means, remind me of it.

Good call.  He was terrible in that game and I'd have to agree with you on that but I still don't think he was individually bad that game.

The Pats made the Eagles look terrible as a whole.  GB did nothing in my opinion to handcuff McNabb yesterday.  He was just bad on his own.
