reid is 3-6 in season openers...you'd think you people would be used to this by now.
lemonade was a popular drink and it still is

I don't even feel like talking about this abortion of a game.

Drunkmasterflex

I realize Reid sucks in season openers, but this one easily could have been avoided if they would have just had a return man.

I was surprised that the eagles were actually able to stop the run today.

IGY Green Bay's defense actually should be pretty good this season, I don't think I would call it an abomination.

I know I'm beating a dead fat horse, but I worked all day and just saw the fargin highlights. I saw two kids today at 130lb. little league football that fielded punts better :boom WTF was Reed doing, did the wind take the pop up away from him? Our Defense made Farverererer look like he was 25yrs. old not taking him down. This is B.S. How about we get the team ready before the 1st week of the season Fat Ass. Give me a break. As sad as this is I want Reno, or hell they should have traded for Rossum.

The Eagles are now 10-15 in their last 25 season openers...

Reid = 3-6
Rhodes = 1-3
Kotite = 3-1
Ryan = 2-3
Campbell = 1-2

hmm

There wasn't any run to stop.

Okay, we chalk up McNabb's performance to his injury.  How long do we give him?  Does he get a pass all year since it was a bad injury?

My only concern is that McNabb has never been the most accurate passer or made the best decisions.  If he has permanently lost his mobility, I wonder how much he will be able to be a difference-maker.

So let me get this straight?

The season's pretty much over, right?

What the hell are you talking about? His injury had nothing to do with it. He was running around all over out there breaking tackles. I can't even remember a time in this game where McNabb dropped back and didn't have to move around a bit to buy time. He was mediocre at best today because of the pressure on defense and the bad playcalling. If you didn't know McNabb got hurt, you wouldn't have even been able to tell.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Another thing that baffles me about the playcalling is that they established a running game today yet did nothing to take advantage of it (ex: play action fake)

SunMo

but they ran a stupid flea flicker on the 2nd play of the game...terrible
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

SunMo

btw...the Giants cut JR Reid for a 7th round draft pick out of marshall for a kick returner

That's all bullshtein.  McNabb was statuesque today.  He isn't ready yet.
I said the OL looked like shtein not just because of the sacks, but the batted balls.  No one was tying up their man.
This team was one of the real cupcakes on the schedule.  They play like this, you think they'll beat the Cowboys/Giants, hell, even the 'Skins?  How bout the Bears?  Seattle?  New Orleans?  I'm not seeing it.  They've had bad games, but this takes the cake.
Anyone but Reid.

I think you meant genius  :paranoid

it was sad that they made no attempt to just run the farging ball.  I would have been happy just to see Hunt out there running people over in the 4th
