I had a dream lastnight our run D was torched and we lost this game 24-17 - I'll stick with that as a prediction

I'll bite - My memory is that Ray is excellent at post-game analysis, but terrible at predictions.  I still can't get over the fact that he thought that Cade McNown was the top QB coming out of the '99 draft.

Still - doesn't change the fact that the Eagles D sucks.  Let's hope Favre has one of his 6 int "chuck it up and see what happens" performances.

I think the Eagles should come out strong in this game.  McNabb will be eager to show what he can do and I think the defense has heard the criticism and will respond.  The Packers O-line isn't great and Brandon Jackson is banged up and the Pack is showing Morency as #1 on the depth chart.  The Packers aura of home field advantage is gone.

i think the eagles will win...but i have a big concern with the injuries...who really believes andrews is gonna finish the game...this is dawks first real game since his injury...sick ward kearse is hurt again...is howard ever healthy?...lj is no good

Let's put it this way: I have no confidence in the Eagles even GETTING a big lead anymore because doing so would require the defense to actually stop the opposing team repeatedly.  I just don't see that happening very often this year. 

The defense is teetering on disaster with a combination of old fargers past their prime, younger veterans who are dreadfully overrated, and new starters who are either completely clueless or playing out of position.

I might be wrong (and I seriously hope to God I am) or maybe it's just a case of raging pessimism on my part but this season has catastrophe written all over it.

The Eagles D by a longshot, but it's an indication that things are bad when comparing them to that Philth bullpen is even a legitimate question.
