Eagles - Packers Game thread

As the Green Bay resident... Let the game thread begin.

Packers can't run so far. They have a rookie Brandon Jackson, a dinged up Vernon Morency of Texans fame, and Huggy Bear's son Noah Herron. Their zone-blocking scheme is in it's 2nd year. The O-line coach Jagazynski* left to coach BC, so the resident staff is not even high on zone-blocking, but they are stuck with it.

Driver is coming off an injury (foot) maybe, James Jones (R) has been a standout in camp, looks to be the other guy. Then there is the aging Franks at TE.

The D is supposed to be their calling card this year. The locals seem to think it will be a top-five D. Woodson, Hawk, Harris, Barnett, Kampman, KGB, etc.

He, be glad we can finally discuss a meaningful (read: regular season) game rather than the toss-ups that are part of the pre season.

I have no idea what to expect. To my surprise, I will be able to see the game over here. It is on delay (mo and tu) and I'll have to tape it, (first broadcast is while I'll have to be at work, the second while I have classes) but I never expected to be able to see the Eagles this early in the season. I just hope it will be better than the horror that was last year's Gints-Eagles game (the first game shown over here).

One of my coworkers has a huge birthmark/mole inside his ear and every time I talk to him I can't stop staring at it. I want to reach inside his ear and rip the farger out and I'm not sure how much longer I can hold out.

The Jets have a home game on CBS at that time. Same reason why it's not on in Washington either...
