I need to have my forensics experts look at it a bit more, but you're probably right.

Who cares? farg the Pats. They didn't lose because of the Refs. They lost because they couldn't cover a half crippled receiver who couldn't even run all out.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Didn't the Eagles sign their top coverage guy for big money?  Ruh roh.

Did the announcers find a way to give Favre credit for motivating the Jets defense?

Let's trade them Clemons for Burress.

But seriously, Winston Justice can stop wetting himself for one year at least.

Justin Tuck, Matthias Kiwanuka and Dave Tollefson would still bust out their pimp hands on Winston.

QuoteNew York Giants aren't ready to ante up for Pierce

by Mike Garafolo/The Star-Ledger

The Giants have resolved a situation with one unhappy Drew Rosenhaus client in Jeremy Shockey and are in the process of working to please another with Plaxico Burress' contract situation.

Already, another one is starting to develop.

Giants middle linebacker Antonio Pierce, the unquestioned leader of the defense now that Michael Strahan has retired, is unhappy with his contract and has been asking the team for a renegotiation all offseason to no avail, according to someone who recently spoke with Pierce about his contract situation. The person, who requested anonymity because Pierce hasn't spoken publicly about this issue, said Pierce's frustrations have mounted as the regular season has drawn closer, and the team has continuously denied his requests to even talk about redoing the last three years of the six-year, $26 million contract Pierce signed before the 2005 season.
