assuming they didn't have a strong closer...you're probably right.

they need to get the setup role solved and they might have a chance for the wild card

yeah im saying that on the assumption and reality that without myers they have no closer

as for the wildcard

they have little to no chance at with the mets and braves in their division

if on april first right before the braves game they phils were 6.5 games back to start the year would anyone have believed they had a shot at the mets or braves

now its may 18 and they are 6.5 games back and they can win it?

ill still hold out hope but i put it at 96.7% they dont pass either the mets or the braves

and i still believe the reason is the lineup not middle relief

yeah, the bats haven't looked good so far.  they have too many games like this, where they are shut down early and have a crazy rally late in the game

Blue Jays pitcher is imploding.  Walked Lieber with the bases loaded, two hits, a wild pitch and a sac fly and it's 5-0.  Five runs on three hits.

2. "phils are gonna turn over the lineup" - i realize the importance of this but just stop it wheels...hes obsessed....i swear to god hes trying to figure out ways to turn the lineup over when victorino is batting

3. phillie fans throwing the home run balls back - welcome to the 1985 iceholes when cub fans were doing it
