I wouldn't take it that far.  Nothing truly catastrophic has happened today.  The pen blew a 2 run lead.  That's just business as usual for this team.

I don't know why anyone's upset.  They only allowed seven freaking runs in that inning.

The Phils have:

1.  Good starting pitching
2.  An inconsistent offense that leaves numerous runners on base.
3.  A  bullpen.

Major changes have to be made.  MAJOR changes.

Burrell is the least of my concerns after watching this game today.  I think he went 2-4. 

Bullpen - sucks.
Offense - sucks.
Defense - sucks.
Managing - sucks. 
Chuggie's mom - swallows.

lets see

1. before the season starts you proclaim your team the team to beat
2. your one division rival then opens the season by sweeping you in your ballpark
3. then you lose two of three to another divisional opponent
4. the you go to your biggest rival...a team and its fans that have been amped up waiting for you to show...and in the 8th inning of a one run game you committ a atrocious error that leads to a seven run inning all the while the opponents announcing are literally laughing at you on air while the stadium mockingly chants your name
5. the team to beat starts the season 1-6

doesnt get worse than that
