He's fallen off quite a bit but if this is true I see no reason not to keep him around. There isn't an upgrade on the roster.

that was my thought too, they have a ton of cap room but i know teams are always trying to squeeze what they can.  i'd cut cole over herremans but they'll probably do both

Love this move....they have ignored getting younger and better on the OL both starting and depth for too long...and guard might be the easiest position in football to fill

tough to judge until you see what they do in FA, but getting younger here seems likely

my guess is they sign a cheaper alternative to herremans in FA and draft someone in the 3-4 round hoping he will one day become the starter.
