Whatever. Got 0 points from Steve Smith, little production from Wayne...what can you do. I won my money league, though. And really, that's all that matters.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

What was the pot?

$550.  I beat the guy by a few fractions of a point, about 150-149.  How much does that suck for him.  The best part is, right before gametime, he swapped out Ronnie Brown in favor of Marion Barber.  Thanks, Eagles, for stuffing Barber for less than one point.  If he left Brown in, he would have beaten me easily.

I never really mind losing if I have my best guys going and they don't produce...but when I have a big point guy riding the bench, that bothers me.  Luckily, it rarely happens ;).

How gracious of you.

Nice job Z.

I remember winning $500 in a money league once...when I didn't even know I had made the playoffs. I had a shtein ass record.  I got a bitter call from the organizer letting me know that I won with my abandoned team. Needless to say I wasn't invited the next year.  ;D

Congrats? I think I finished the season with more overall points than you, I probably had the better team. Just didn't happen last week for me to win a fantasy league with a bunch of people I talk nonsense with on the interwebs. Now if we ever put some money down on this thing, then things could get interesting.

You really sound like a bitter Jew-bitch.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Well if Steve Smith got you 0 points, you'd be bitter too.

MDS team chokes hard and then comes up with the sore loser response.  ha.

congrats on the super bowl win Zanshin.

I know not everyone enjoyed the overall points league as opposed to a head to head matchup.  I do appreciate everyones participation this year in the CFFFL.  Maybe next year we can get head to head matchups with an even number of people and get some sort of playoffs involved.  until next year.

Each format has it's advantages/disadvantages.  Points league assures that the highest scoring team(s) have the best chance to win.  H2H format typically comes down to how the league schedule is set up.  I don't think I've ever played in a H2H league where the highest scoring team for the year ever made it to the championship game, let alone won it.  In fact, in my money league this year, the highest scoring team somehow managed to finish in 7th place out of 10 teams.  It seemed like almost every week his opponent's teams were scoring 20 or 30 points above their average.  I'm glad though because he's a fleshpop.  Plus I won.  And that means I have some of his money in my pocket right now.

I had Steve Smith and Willie Parker in my money league and still won, by the way....even with their combined 0 points.  Deal.

I liked the points variation much better than the head-to-head thing.  It allows good teams a bad week here and there without getting penalized too much for them.  One thing I would like to suggest is allowing a couple more roster spots for flexibility's sake.

Still, I enjoyed it and thanks for the invitation, fellas.

I liked everything about the format this year.

I have a feeling that was intentionally done to force more roster moves -- necessary in such a large and deep league. Otherwise the draft is everything and the season itself hardly matters.

I think the intention was to prevent stashing players on rosters and that's fine.  I simply would have preferred an extra bit of roster flexibility, but it's all good.
