In a money league I am in, I missed that draft, too (I'm seeing a trend develop), and my RB's suck.  Here's my team:

QB: P Manning
WR: Fitzgerald
WR: A. Johnson
RB: Lewis
RB: D. Foster
TE: Winslow
R/W: B. Edwards
Bench: W. Parker (bye)
Bench: M. Bell (bye)
Bench: L. Evans
Bench: A. Bryant
Bench: Brunell
K: Akers
DEF: KC
Bench: Wash

We will probably drop KC def for Robinson (SF RB) while Gore is recovering.

As you can see, I am in desparate help for RB support.  I have a trade out there that gets me Westbrook and McNair for Manning and either Foster or Bell, but Im not crazy about that.  I have received a trade offer that is Fitzgerald for Fred Taylor straight up.

WR/RB score the same, and the league is weighted to running and catching over passing.

Help, please.

How many teams in the league? If there are some decent pickups at QB on the Waiver wire (Kitna, Smith, etc.) I would part with Manning for Westy and McNair. You could also counter and get something a little better than McNair. Manning puts up great numbers, but if you can get compairable numbers from another QB by playing match-ups and working the waiver wire you'd be money by adding Westy.

Hasselbeck vs Chicago D or Alex Smith vs KC D

Gore vs KC D or Watchu Talkin Bout Willis vs Minny D

Alex Smith. It's hard to go against Hasselbeck coming off a 5 TD game, but the Bears' D is silly, plus no Alexander behind him.

Gore. McGahee is a little to off again on again for me, and Minny's D is playing pretty well. If Losman can't get it done (he won't) they'll crowd the line and shut down the run game.

mulling over my second RB starter in my money league.  due to byes, my options are:

Joseph Addai or Dominic Rhodes.

Thoughts?

I would think you should go with Addai.

So, you probably want to go with Rhodes.

PhillyPhanInDC

Do you get points per reception? If so, I'd definately go with Addai. That and they are trying to get him to the point where he is the feature guy. Based on watching him the last two weeks, they are opening up the playbook more for him, and Manning's comfort level in him has gone up. I'd go far as to say that Rhodes doesn't have much fantasy value left going foward. He had his shot, and didn't do much with it.

I'm leaning towards Addai as well, figuring that he's bound to see more looks with each game.  Also, if the Colts build an early lead, he's going to get a lot of carries in the end game.

Hasselback vs. Chicago or Alex Smith vs. Kansas City?

addai is just as good a play as rhodes right now plus he has a much bigger upside with each week he plays...id def go with him

do i replace any of the following this week with deion branch

santana moss vs jacksonville
antonio bryant  at kc
randy moss vs cle

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

The only guy I would consider swapping out would be Moss vs. JAX. But that isn't close.

Branch isn't the number one yet, plus he has a pretty tough matchup. I'd bench him and go with the other three and cross your fingers.

My turn:

Tom Brady @ CIN

or

Culpepper @ HOU

i think you have a high risk high reward choice..culpepper might not be ready to play yet after his injury and he will suck or hes healthy enough but was just waiting for his break out game which houston could provide (see brunnell)

brady obviously is the more solid choice but he also isnt putting up the huge numbers he did last year

then theres also the fact that miami has the much better chance to be up big in their game while new england could be throwin a lot more

i personally would go with brady

Addai it is then, we'll see how smart we are soon...

igy: I wouldn't replace any of those three with Branch.

phillyphaninDC:  Brady.
