I forgot to make my picks.  I usually do them on Saturday.  But I got to see the Eagles stomp the Skins which more than makes up for it.  Besides, I would have only gotten about 8 right anyway so it's not like I would have had a big week.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Phreak now has a 2-game lead over me, thanks to my strategy of picking the teams to win that hurts the Eagles most... so of course, none of them won, including the Giants.

I don't have a problem with the outcome.

Cerevant is going to win this thing.

151 - me
150 - cerevant
149 - fk

I had 9 today (picked CHI)
Cerevant had 10 (will get 11 once GB wins)
fk had 11 (picked CHI)

I changed the NE/TEN game to TEN this morning. >:(

MURP

looks like a tie between Phreak and Cerevant

Cerevant

*takes a bow*

I'd like to thank all my fans out there for sticking with me during my mid-season slump.  If I have to share the title, I'm pleased to share it with such a great competitor.

Don't they have tiebreakers every week to decide this?

I thought so, but it has them both listed as #1.  Not sure how to figure out the tiebreaker if it doesnt show it on there.   ???  not a big deal either way.

I don't know how the list is sorted, but here is the breakdown of the obvious tiebreakers that I could come up with:

Weekly head-to-head tiebreaks (total points of MNF game) = Cerevant, 10-7
Overall week wins = Cerevant, 3-2
Head-to-head weeks = Phreak, 8-7-2

So, who gets to pick the tiebreakers after the fact?  Or do we just leave it a tie?

(edit: missed one tie in the head-to-head)

The weekly tiebreak is a combination of all of those - however, with the exception of one week (that went to Phreak) the first tiebreak worked.  I couldn't find any rules for tiebreaks in the season standings.  I'm guessing that PP is first in the list because he won the tiebreak for week 17.

QuoteIn any week where two or more players finish with the same number of points, here's the system that'll be used to break the tie:

   1. Closest to the total points for Monday night's game.
   2. Closest to the home team points for Monday night's game.
   3. Closest to the road team points for Monday night's game.
   4. Closest to the total points for Sunday night's game.
   5. Closest to the home team points for Sunday night's game.
   6. Closest to the road team points for Sunday night's game.
   7. Closest to the city whose team scores the most points.
   8. Closest to the city whose team scores the fewest points.
   9. Whichever user had more points in the previous week (or the week before that if still tied, etc.).

You'll be able to determine each weekly winner by looking at the Weekly Performance page, where the person winning the week will be shown in bold

If you apply the tiebreaks to the weeks we tied, I come out ahead on the head-to-head (9-8) as well.

I dunno, too much nonsense to wade through.  You both got 160 right so its a tie.  there we go.   :deion

I say we end this lunacy and declare Ditka the champion.
