QB Eagles

Yahoo is projecting 64.83 points for you, so I'll take the over.

QB Eagles

The over wins.

Chuck chillout ain't even trying, he started 7 players.

Susquehanna Birder

I guess that's one good thing about a points-only league. No cheap wins at the expense of the slackers.

The Scrotes are rising!   >:D

QB Eagles

First one to 500 points wins the league, right?  :paranoid

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Hey, it made sense at the time.  :)

Super Bowl MVP QB who seemed to have found his guy in Gabriel vs. Rookie QB from Toledo making his first start for one of the lower ranking offenses.  :P

Sassy, are you really going into this week without a QB?  For farg sake man...

In the Astroglide v. Killer Krauts mactchup, I'm intrigued by each team's selection of a swing player.  Both went with WRs who should be good, but have sucked donkey balls so far this year: Randy Moss for rjs and Hines Ward for 61.  Neither team had a better option due to byes, unless you count Marion Barber III as a better option than Ward.  I'm interested to see if either player makes a contribution.  If I had to choose which one, I'd bet that Ward has the better chance of helping the cause.

Rome

I missed out on changes to my lineup the last couple of weeks due to traveling, etc.

Sorry about that, fellas.  I'll be more attentive in the future.

PS: Still in 3rd place despite the inattention.  Not too bad.

QB Eagles

Week 6

Best team: SeasNutz      Worst team: Mad-Lad Pwnz Yo Mama

Offensive MVP: LaDainian Tomlinson (Romey's Killer Puns) - 37 pts
Defensive MVP: Julius Peppers (Romey's Killer Puns) x2 - 16 pts

Other offensive standouts:
Torry Holt (ridin reese's piece) - 33 pts
Philip Rivers (MDS' Zordichs) - 30.5 pts
Marc Bulger (SeasNutz) - 30.5 pts
Matt Hasselbeck (Gamera vs. QB Eagles) - 26 pts
:cfhead Reggie Brown (Gamera vs. QB Eagles) - 25 pts

Other defensive standouts:
Brian Urlacher (Dio's Bronx Brigands) - 15 pts
Lance Briggs (Sweet Sassy Mo-lassy) - 15 pts
Charles Tillman (ridin reese's piece) - 15 pts
:boom Scott Fujita (Monkey Spanks) - 13 pts

If you had a defensive Bear, you probably had a pretty good week. Offensive Bear, not so much. For those of you keeping score at home, Rex Grossman had -11.5 pts this week. Chuck wisely benched him.

Romey becomes the first franchise to have an offensive and defensive MVP in the same week. He misses the Triple Crown (collecting both MVPs and winning the week) by 0.5 pts.

Reese started Brett Favre (bye week) over Jon Kitna (19 pts). Mad-Lad started Peyton Manning on his bye week, and elected to start bye-week Fred Taylor over Travis Henry (23 pts) and injured Larry Fitzgerald over Michael Clayton (11 pts). Personally I think a guy who drafted Pacman Jones in Round 9 deserves last place every week.

This marks the 4th consecutive week that QB Eagles has multiple standout players. Only two teams (MDS and Phanatic) have had 4 consecutive weeks of one standout player.

Jon Kitna and Drew Brees have been started one game this season each. Both have more points than Peyton Manning.

My team sucks yet I'm within striking distance of the lead. This is sad.
