The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

This just in.

My team sucks.

Sus's team is worse, so you have THAT going for you.

When did they change the definition of "just" to "long ago?"

Yep.  It happened right after he selected Trent Green in round 4 of the draft.

Yep.  It happened right after the auto-draft selected Trent Green in round 4 of the draft.

I can't take credit.

Pre-rankings are your friend.

Diomedes

The deal with pre-rankings is that you have to use the 'do not draft' list well.  Also, Yahoo rankings for defensive players are crap.

David Carr (Dio's Bronx Brigands) - 29 pts
Rudi Johnson (Dio's Bronx Brigands) - 26 pts
Ron Mexico (FFargtards) - 25.5 pts

Other defensive standouts:
Julius Peppers (Romey's Killer Puns) - 19 pts

I regret to say that the brothers Manning were #1 and #2 this week. The consolation prize was getting to see MDS' team surrounded by shtein.

See?  I have two standouts, including the guy that broke Donovan's leg, and my team is no longer in first.

Haters. The Zordichs wont be down for long.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Word.

And I felt pretty good about getting Portis via the auto-draft.

Having this many teams, and playing via points is...well...different.

With injuries starting to really kick in, some of the positions are definitely scraping the bottom of the barrel now. I picked up Marcus Robinson this week, and now I find out he's hurt too. Going forward, I think teams that want a shot at winning will have to make some smart trades, because there won't be a heck of a lot of value on the waiver wire or in free agency.
