The Cardinals v. Rams matchup will probably determine the outcome of my matchup this weekend.

Astroglide just added Kurt Warner to start for him, and I've got Larry Fitzgerald starting.  In all likelihood, they'll cancel each other out.  I'm also starting Edge, and Wilkins.

Kurt Warner was a great spot-starter for me.  I think Vick is a better backup long-term to Eli for me.

Diomedes

Warner just hooked up for a TD with...Fitzgerald.  Keep it up Warner.

He also lost a key fumble, and my team didn't need him this week.  All hail Westbrook.

All this talk doesnt matter because I'm going to start to dominate the league...

Coles leads the league in receptions and he's 3 yards behind Marvin Harrison for most yards.  rjs cut him September 1st.  Ha.

How did this shteinbox of a team make the championship game last season?
Oh right, my ridiculous GM'ing skills.

Double Ha!

And I don't care if my team is 0-3 right now.  [Cowboys Fan]My team's got rings.  How many rings you got?[/Cowboys Fan]

I'm gonna go throw up now.

Well, farg you very much, Westbrook.

Diomedes

If you were smurt, you'd have Buck to sub in for at least a shadow of a chance.  Counting on Westbrook to start is teh stoopid.

Good point.  I could have at least had him in WR/RB.  That would have been smart.  I eat ass.  A lot of ass.

Diomedes

This kind of thing is exactly why it's important to have the backup.  It's nice for when you know well beforehand that a guy is gonna be out, but you have other options (trade, waiver wire) when you have notice.  When the prior notice is measured in minutes rather than days, waivers and trades are already on hold for the week, so you need to have a body to throw into the lineup.

In my money league, I've got Tiki and Buck.  Another dude has Westbrook and Jacobs.  I just got him on the phone, broke the news, and seeded ground for a Jacobs/Westbrook trade.  He'll bite, I'll have gained the better back, but we'll both be in better positions than we are now.

Yeah, if this were a money league, I would have been a little more careful.  I'd still lose, though.
