I was listening to The Show (Rob Dibble and Kevin Kennedy on my way home from work today.

This idiot gets on, says that he is a Phillies fan but not one of "those Phillies fans," and says that he apologizes ahead of time for how Philly fans will treat Barry Bonds this weekend.

Two things I love about this win.  One: the Phils didn't rely on the long ball and got most of the RISP in. 

Two: Gordon got to sit (which he needs to do a lot more) and watch Rhodes handle the 9th with ease.  They actually looked like a baseball team tonight.

I am investing in Tivo soon. I can't stand missing all of these games. I the outcome and I have to watch them be replayed at 0130 and thats only if they are on CSN.

Anyways,

1. Hamels needs to be called up to take Madson's next start. Let's keep this winning streak going. Because if Madson goes out there and gets bombed again I will be angry. Put him back in the pen. Let Cole Hamles be the Dontrelle of 2003 this year. That means we win the Series.

2. Do not underestimate the power of Uncle Charlie gettin' on yo ass. Since he flipped his lid they have gone 5-0. Way to go, Charlie. Maybe these guys needed the good ol' boy to get crazy on them.

3. Lieby is hitting for contact well. He has no power and that botched pop-up tonight was Bad News Bears like. But at least Harry called out waste of space David Bell on that one.

4. Aaron Rowand is showing what he means to a team. He has helped them out a ton this year.

5. Pat needs to start hitting with runners in scoring position! He is batting .194.

Where's the public outcry about Burrell being unclutch? Where are the thousands of radio callers at screaming for Pat because he's a lazy bum who can't come through with RISP?

By the way, Bobby is hitting .429 with RISP.
