Today's update is that Uncle Monte has been promoted to assistant HC/defense, Rod Marinelli is now the new DC, and Callahan is being retained because apparently if Jason Garrett gets fired during the season Callahan is first in the line of succession. Also, Jerruh's cat Isadora will be relaying Marinelli's play calls from the box to the mlb.

So, I guess you all enjoyed Jerrah's recent round of shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic. Three OCs in three years, three DCs in three years. What could possibly go wrong? Word is that the Linehan hire was Garrett's call but I don't buy it. There have been multiple chances to add Norv Turner but Jerrah won't go there because he connects to our success under Jimmy and of course we can't have that if he came in, did a good job and we actually won something. Whether this was a move by Jerrah or the redheaded genius, I don't like it.

The draft should be interesting. No idea which direction we go in the first round but in the second I'm betting on a tight end or a linebacker who might have been a first round pick except for his injury history.

I saw something yesterday that said of the 10 DL they have on the roster 7 are on their third (or more) team and the other 3 have a combined 2 NFL sacks

At least Leaf was once the #2 overall pick and considered a prospect on par with Peyton Manning. Everyone other than the Browns front office at the time thought Weeden was a brutal move since Day 1. Even if he turned out to be good, he was fargin' old.

In other words, it would be even more retarded than Jer giving Leaf another shot.
