Eh... it's what I do.  This week sucks (meetings and meetings about meetings).  The kids come back next week.  That's when the fun starts.

I haven't even begun full time teaching yet and I can say with 100% confidence that a summer long vacation is needed. Just one day with the little kids has me about ready to collapse and/or scream. Really hoping I can find a SS teaching job in the upper grades next year. Sadly it'll probably be in a Charter school since public school SS jobs are impossible to find, but at least charter school teachers are still part of the state pension fund.

The thought process saying that our lack of freedom is acceptable because others are less free/nominal corruption is acceptable because other states are more corrupt is the poison that is slowly, but surely dismantling this country.
