1/4" stainless steel sheet

Think about that for a moment.  Quarter inch stainless.  That is a lot of stainless.  Panels are what size?  Weigh how much each?   That material isn't exactly easy to work, either.

a standard sheet on there was 4' x 8'

so that's about 375# each

we built them in assemblies in the shop the full height of the wall and set them with a crane in the field.

i think it's about $3.50 per lb or so.  so figure $1300 per panel on the wall.  not including polish (which had to be invented) and the etching on the panels with names
