I'd trade every cent of it for a healthy back but such is life.

You and me both.

One of my not so glorious duties is being in charge of our squadron's supplies.....cleaning gear, pens, paper, staples, etc, etc.  This new dude just walked in and asked for a box of printer paper.  I told him I only had copier paper and wouldn't be able to order any printer paper until next quarter.  He said "Thanks, I'll be back in October" and walked out of my office.

You Coast Guard fellas are funny.

ice grillin you

thanks everyone

In observance of the Labor Day holiday, you may depart three hours earlier than your normal departure time, subject to the operating needs of the office.

Please remember to use the Out of Office notification in Outlook to let customers know that you are not available and put a contact number or email address of the person to call in case urgent needs arise in the regional offices or even here at headquarters.

I wish you an enjoyable and safe holiday weekend.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

What town is it exactly? Is it an hour outside Chicago or an hour from the closest suburb of Chicago?

Definitely.  Chicago is a cool city.  Get the hell out of Texas if you can't get to Austin.

DeKalb, where Northern Illinois is located, is an alright college town I guess. But it's definitely close enough to Chicago to make it worth the move

DH

yea, plus if you make the move this week, you guys can hang out at the bears game.
