I use SharePoint for all of the reports that i make, it sucks

I have a site that I custom made with perl, PHP, and lots of cool, active content. I need to move it to a MicroSnatch environment, and they have the balls to tell me that SharePoint will do what I want.

I'm tempted to hand it all up to the boss, and tell him to hire a consultant to do it.

So uh I've got a meeting coming up about possibly becoming a cop.  Kind of a cop out but oddly enough the classes I have taken for political science match up well with criminal justice.

criminal justice has got to be one of the most irrelevent degrees out there.  stick with pol sci.

I want to, but I have to find out if the board will specifically want criminal justice or if they just want their new cops to be educated and have a college degree.

skip them both and go for psychology.  criminal justice is exceptionally worthless when it comes to persuing a career in law enforcement.  it's like taking the medical transcription course at itt tech with hopes of being a doctor.

a criminal justice degree is the least useful degree you can get to become an officer.  They'll tell you this, but it serves absolutely no purpose to you.

you learn that crap on the job anyway, so your're better off getting a niche type of degree if you want to advance.  Business may make you a canidate for white collar crimes/fraud/robery.  Psychology/Sociology help with any detective like work.   Plus its a sterotype that a recruit has a CJ Degree.

I'm officially no longer in the Sharepoint game. Unfortunately, I'm also no longer in any kind of IT support game. My new responsibilities will be basically doing the clerical grunt work that is below the interest level of other people in my department.

I'm not sure if I should be relieved or pissed off.
