True but you get to wear your Eagles jersey to work and have the pleasure of yelling, PLEASE FIGHT ME every time you see the boss.

You can't put a price of that, Dio.

This guy gets it!

And it would pay like $15 so there!

I have three more years.  After that all bets are off.  I like my job, and my colleagues, especially here, are really cool, but my daughter is out of here in 2018, and my (our) options go from one to infinite when that day comes.

Thinking Fiji, actually.  Or Kauai...

So which dead person did you communicate with? And did you make a clay pot with them?

So when the inspector general came for their surprise visit, she left a notepad in the lady's room calling one of the inspectors arrogant and a stuck up bitch which they got a hold of. So now they really have it out for her.

Is she the lady in the pic? If so, fat and ugly leaves no room for arrogance and stuck uppery

No that lady is a whole different story. She's the reason we're in the news so much. She's a whistleblower who constantly complains to congress that we're mistreated as employees here. She didn't pass the bar but she practices law so she uses that to her advantage. There's something seriously wrong with her.

This is an extremely high pressure job where we're expected to perform and make numbers, but nobody is being forced to work here. You can't hack it then leave. Half the problem with this place is employees who can't make their numbers and refuse to learn how to do the job right.

I have never been more convinced of the need for a summer vacation. Students are insane. The education field would be barren without summer breaks combined with zesty salary.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

School should go year round with regular breaks. Teachers should be paid more and given more robust support (staff, infrastructure, resources, respect).

This isn't complicated.

My wife got totally farged over on a promotion today.  She just said, "farg 'em" and she's going to find another one.  She's been on the computer since she got home getting her shtein in order.  I told her I would be totally fine if she walked in there tomorrow, picked up her shtein, and walked the farg out, but she said she'll just bide her time until she finds something else.  I am still seething over them farging her over right now, but I've never been more proud of her for being the coolest chick ever.

I agree with this.  It would be better for the kids, and will keep teachers fresher longer.

Of course, a lot of teachers get jobs during that summer break to earn more money.
