Let me be the first to say...GET ALLEN!! I realize he's old at 35 but he's much better than Hicks and did make the Pro Bowl last season.

Dolphins | Team visits with N. Davenport
Tue, 21 Mar 2006 20:00:28 -0800

Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports the Miami Dolphins visited with free agent RB Najeh Davenport (Packers) Monday and Tuesday, March 20 and 21. Davenport is a candidate to back up starting RB Ronnie Brown if RB Ricky Williams is forced to serve a year-long drug suspension he is currently appealing.

I don't understand why we have no interest in Davenport. What RBs do we have interest in. Seemingly non so far.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

I agree with the GET ALLEN peeps.

If he is signed and Runyan is re-signed -- goodbye Tra.

But Allen has to be committed and in shape.

That makes zero sense.  Allen is a OG and would fit on the 2006 Eagles at LG... making a nice set of interior line beefcakes to protect McNabb and allow Westbrook to run up the middle occasionally.  I can't see why in the hell that would trigger adios to Tra Thomas, unless we all of a sudden don't give a rat's ass about Donovan's blind side.

ice grillin you

im thinking phreak would put herremans there

I think they want to get Herremans in there and play him a lot. There has been talk that both of the Eagles OTs would not be back this year. Its either Runyan or Tra. Do I believe that? Not quite sure. But if they want Herremans in there it could lead to one of them not coming back. And if they re-sign Runyan, then Herremans stays at LT. Not saying I would do it, but just what has been speculated about back here quite often. Todd Herremans will have a spot on that OL. Whether it is at LT, RT or LG he will start, IMO.

If they get Allen and cut Tra, they have downgraded the line.
