Yep...it sure has.

The only thing that I am hoping for is that these other guys have overpriced themselves and that is why we haven't heard a peep about Runyan, Peterson and others visiting teams.

And we have to hope that once their asking price goes down and the market levels out...the Eagles make some moves.

Just look at the Colts -- Polian straight up said they won't be active for 3 weeks because of the overinflation of the market.

Thats all we have o hope for -- that they will get active. Start the day out tomorrow by getting Howard. That is a HUGE signing if they get him.

John McClain, of the Houston Chronicle, reports the Houston Texans spent Sunday, March 12, meeting with free agent WR David Givens (Patriots). Givens reportedly wants $25 million over five years and that's out of the Texans' price range. Late Saturday night, March 11, the Texans said Boston-based agent Brad Blank informed them that Givens was going to re-sign with the New England Patriots. This morning, Givens came to Houston as scheduled, told the Texans there had been some miscommunication and that he was definitely interested. They still haven't given up on him, but the price is too high.

I've been busy as hell for a while but I finally had some time to kill online, so I thought I'd stop in and check up on free agency.

Reading all this stuff has me clawing my hair and eyes out in agony. In other words it's a typical Eagles free agency period. All they need to do now is pick up a bunch of linemen I've never heard of in the draft.

I would have loved Anderson, but he's going to be the Ravens' starting RB, is he not? He would have been part of a 3 headed monster here...so perhaps Philly wasn't ever a possibility to him once he knew he'd be a starter elsewhere.
