I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

one thing i hate about the british open is all of these players no one has ever heard of in the field.  there's like one person in the top ten today that i've heard of before.

Co-leader Greg Owen's been one of the top golfers on the Euro tour for a while now.

Also, you haven't heard of Ernie Els, Sergio Garcia, Mike Weir, or Jim Furyk?  All are tied one stroke off the lead.

I think you might have been exaggerating a bit.

phattymatty

i actually didn't even look.

Only a -8 and not a -10 as would be assumed.  Weak sauce.

PoopyfaceMcGee

actually it's -8

He shot a 26 on a par-34 front nine:

QuotePavin, who was 8 under at the turn, broke the mark of four other players who had shot a 27 through the first nine holes, including Andy North and Robert Gamez, both participating in the tournament at the par-70 Brown Deer Park Golf Course.

Mike Souchak (1955), North (1975), Billy Mayfair (2001) and Gamez (2004) all equaled the mark, but Mayfair and Gamez both made the turn at 9 under.

Knowledge is king, dook

phattymatty

oh my bad, he's -9 for the first round.

guess his back nine weren't quite as good.

PoopyfaceMcGee

He played more like Corey Pavin on the back nine.

Actually, a +3 on the back would have been more like Corey Pavin.

MadMarchHare

I'm playing that course in September.  I should reach that 26 by the third hole easy.
Anyone but Reid.
