I actually do hope TO comes back. Most of everyone wanted him gone because they thought he disrupted the team, the chemistry, etc. Well since he's left we are 0-2. It can't get any worse right now. Might as well ride it out with TO and see where we end up.
THIS SEASON IS OVER AND ANDY'S WORLD IS GRIDL

Offseason needs: 2 DEs, 1 DT, 1 OL, 2 LBs, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 KR.

How utterly shocking.

if terrell owens need to get blown by some dude to save his life, im sure you would hop on the first plane to atlanta and swallow your way to the front.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

WEST is GOD

Uhhh.. something like that.

I thought you were rooting for the Eagles to lose so they could have a higher first round draft pick.

QuoteFor Eagles, time for decisions and revisions

By Bob Brookover
Inquirer Staff Writer

Nine games into the season, the Eagles are 4-5, buried at the bottom of the NFC East, and looking at the distinct possibility of playing their final seven games without their two most prominent offensive playmakers.

"That's a hell of a dream," Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard said. "I don't think anybody could have guessed that."

If that's what Sheppard calls a dream, then he must have some really gruesome nightmares.

"When this season started... I don't think one guy in this locker room would have thought for one second that we would be 4-5 and without our top playmakers," offensive guard Artis Hicks said. "But that's football, man. That's why you try to put together the best team you can. That's what the management upstairs and the head coach are for, and we just have to keep fighting."

There's probably nothing the Eagles can do at this point to save quarterback Donovan McNabb's season. Coach Andy Reid announced yesterday that McNabb would not play Sunday against the New York Giants.

It won't surprise anybody if the Eagles announce today or tomorrow that their quarterback is going to have season-ending surgery to repair the sports hernia that has hampered him since opening night in Atlanta.

"I will have the surgery," McNabb said. "I have already made that decision. It's pretty much a matter of when I will have it. That will be the very first surgery I have ever had, so I'm not in a hurry to get under the knife. That's just being a human being. I don't think anybody is excited about having surgery."

McNabb said his decision on whether his trip to the operating table will come sooner rather than later will be made after he meets today with William Meyers, a Philadelphia-based surgeon who is an expert on sports hernias.

Mike McMahon, the fifth-year veteran out of Rutgers, will replace McNabb against the Giants.

As for the Eagles' other missing playmaker, they still have the option of bringing wide receiver Terrell Owens back if that's what they want to do. There's absolutely no indication that Reid intends to change his mind about the four-game suspension he imposed on Owens 11 days ago.

Regardless of what arbitrator Richard Bloch decides after tomorrow's hearing, there's no reason to think that Owens will ever slip on an Eagles uniform and flap his arms again. Still, there are those inside the Eagles' locker room who believe that Owens deserves another chance and that this team would be better off with No. 81 lining up and catching passes.

Linebacker Jeremiah Trotter voiced that opinion after Monday night's disheartening loss to the Dallas Cowboys and again Tuesday on his weekly WIP radio show.

"We believe T.O.'s a good guy at heart, and he can rectify the problem," Trotter said. "And if he can rectify the problem, why wouldn't we want T.O. on the team? I think it comes down to him talking to Andy and saying: 'Hey, coach, I want to come back, and I want to do things the right way.' That's it. It's that simple."

Trotter did not make an appearance in the locker room while it was open to the media yesterday.

Sheppard said he would be in favor of bringing Owens back.

"From my perspective, I'd vote for him to come back," the cornerback said. "That's just my opinion. Take a survey of the locker room, and see what you get."

There's not enough availability or time to take such a survey in one day, but Sheppard thought he had an inkling of what his teammates would say about T.O. returning.

"Some people might not answer that question, and I'm quite sure you'll get some nos," Sheppard said. "But I think the majority will say yes."

Even cornerback Sheldon Brown, who expressed tremendous disappointment in Owens last week, said he'd welcome back the wide receiver.

"I may be in that situation someday where I'm crying out for help, and I don't want anyone to turn their back on me," Brown said. "I never give up on anyone. But he's got to do some stuff, too. He can't just walk right in here. They're not going to be, 'Oh, welcome back,' and open their arms."

Hicks and wide receiver Greg Lewis declined to comment on their feelings about Owens returning.

"It doesn't matter what I think," Lewis said. "There's no point in answering because it's not my decision. It's up to Coach Reid, an arbitrator, and whoever else is in charge of all of that stuff."

A sports-hernia specialist will determine McNabb's fate today, an arbitrator will hear Owens' case tomorrow, and the Eagles will return to the playing field two days after that without either of their star offensive players.

This is quite a season they're having.
