Lidge's slider is nasty. I got to meet him one time and they let me try to hit off him. Im not a bad baseball player at all, but that thing almost made me cry.

They battled back nicely, but Manuel is a moron. Pinch hits Michael Tucker for Michaels. Lets the game come down to freaking Endy Chavez. I knew it was over. Dancy had to send Kata there, hope for a bad throw or something. Chavez blows. Where was (sigh) Ramon Martinez or Todd Pratt? Manuel sucks. I hate this team. They kill me.

That pitch landed 2 feet in front of the plate. No excuse for swinging at that pitch. Chavez looked like shtein, he would have swung at a pick off attempt.

They're .5 back and they have a ton of games left against WC teams.

I had no beef with Tucker PH'ing.

Myers settled down. That error by Mr. Jagoff was the tone setter for that inning. Retire Taveras and they don't score.

I do agree with what Marz said on the PGL though...Endy should've PR for Howard. Not Kata. Endy scores on Jimmy's double. And F Jimmy for smoking that ball...if it is a corner rattler Kata scores.

And nice to see Bill Dancy get smart now. Where was that stop sign earlier?

Oh well. Not the end of the world. But I'm not going to listen to the radio tonight because I bet people are jumping from the Benny Frank and Whitman.

I was extreamly pissed off after this one, but I've calmed down. We gotta win the next two and things will be okay.

I found a little sense of comfort in the fact that Myers was awesome after the 1st inning. He could've imploded but he only gave up 1 hit after that.

I also loved Victorino's AB against Lidge. He looked better than Endy.

Tell that to Wade and Manuel. How Chavez is still on a major league team is a joke. He can do nothing. Ugh. Just move on to tommorrow, we can still take 2/3.
