Here we go with the Gas prices

I looked for the thread but after 11 pages i was too frustrated. I looked on www.gaspricewatch.com to see the cheapest gas in my area, it was $2.71 for regular 1 and 1/2 miles from my office, so I went down there and  :o $3.31 a gallon for regular, I looked across the street and saw Bp at $2.71. I waited in a long line and was pumping my gas when the owner/worker was standing outside, an older guy asked when they were going up. He says "One hour up 60 cents". I screamed out .60 cents!! he said "look at Speedway they went up" I can understand 10 - 15cents a gallon with our refineries down south in trouble, and I know that this is not a bigger deal then the actual disaster down south but .60 freakin cents is price gouging and it is dead wrong!

Yeah well...this is different.  So wouldn't a new thread be okay?  There is a specific reason for this rise in prices. 

We were told at the police department on Monday night that this was going to happen and we were to be prepared for tons of gas drive-offs and fights at the pumps and/or inside with the cashier.  People will no doubt be pissed off and not wanting to pay.  It's gonna be fun.
When you're riding in a time machine way far into the future, don't stick your elbow out the window, or it'll turn into a fossil.

I wasn't saying it wasn't okay. But I was pointing out another conversation about it. Cripes.

Hahaha!!  Now that you mention it, he does look like he could be a cross-dresser.  Maybe they can strap one of those nice pink and white jerseys on him.
