I've been debating on taking Reggie Brown and dropping Mike Williams, I guess I'll take a look at how Williams looks tonight and make a decision. Most, if not all of the first round (real draft) WRs were taken in the later rounds, but I figure there is still a sleeper out there, and I am starting to think Reggie may be that guy....

Don't make your decision based on fandom.  While I'm certain that Reggie will grow into a solid player and may even make contributions this year, the fact is that rookie receivers don't find the endzone that much under Andy Reid.  He's going to be fighting against TO, Lewis, Smith and Westbrook for scoring opportunities.

Williams on the other hand, I think will get more chances in Detroit.  Granted, he's got an uphill battle infront of him as well with R. Williams and Charles Rogers ahead of him but I think between him and Reggie, Williams will have the more productive year.

I really don't know why I tried to get so in depth with this post because neither one of them is going to be a consistant fantasy player so I guess the point is moot.  farg it.  Pick who ever you want.

As far as your team goes though, it's not a bad looking squad.  What's your roster limit?  Are you maxed out already or can you add more players?  If so, you might want to consider adding one more runningback for depth.  Other than that, your team looks pretty decent and is almost worthy of competing against mine.  :P

For a 14 team league that's pretty well done.

Otherwise it would eat serious monkey scrot.

getting CJ, K Jones and Alexander in the first 28 picks is a steal.

I know. I am playing in three other leagues, and this is the "work" one. I'm a government contractor, so most of the people that want to play in the league are customers, so it's hard to tell them to farg off. I figure it'll be just as well when I thief all their money. :deion

In a ten person league in which I can start 2 rbs, 3 wrs, and a W/R flex, I drafted Alexander, Rudi Johnson, and Julius Jones in the first three rounds. I was also able to steal Travis Henry in the fifteenth (15th) round. Hell here's my whole team:

QBs
Collins (Rd 7)
Pennington (Rd 13)

RBs
Alexander (Rd 1)
Johnson (Rd 2)
Jones, Julius (Rd 3)
Barlow (Rd 10)
Travis Henry (Rd 15)
Frank Gore (Waiver Wire)

WRs
Andre Johnson (Rd 4)
Boldin (Rd 5)
Mason (Rd 6)
Jimmy Smith (Rd 9)
Charles Rogers (Waiver Wire)

TEs
LJ Smith (Rd 8 )

K
Akers (Rd 16)

IDP
Donnie Edwards (Rd 11)
Trotter (Rd 12)
Lance Briggs (Rd 17)
Julian Peterson (Waiver Wire)

The commish farged up the amount of players a team could have so he added two roster spots after the draft (that's how I picked up Rogers and Peterson). I dropped Miller (TE-PIT) for Gore.

Julius Jones in the 3rd round is a goddamned steal. You must be playing with a bunch of Eagles fans/homers. No chance he should have lasted that long.

Big Ben IN THE FIRST ROUND?! Holy god.
Interesting self-control by people to wait on Priest Holmes as well.
I would have drafted Julius Jones ahead of a lot of those other running backs (certainly before Portis and Kevin Jones).

farging Roethlisberger in the first farging round. Wow.

A quarterback went first??

???

I can deal with that a lot more than Ben Rothasdhahgagberger going in the first round.  Anyone who drafts him (a) as their primary starter and (b) before the 8th or 9th round is a farging idiot.  I hope it's a money league so that douche bag actually has to fork over some green for being st00pid.
