Susquehanna Birder

Friends of ours (Borgata regulars) have gone to Parx, and they said they like the place. It's supposedly much better than the Hollywood joint around here.

Nice. I may try to hit it up tomorrow at some point.

Day or night? Some of the waitresses are hot as shtein and there's a club in there called 360 that gets packed. Mostly an older crowd but not a bad place to hang. $10 cover charge. The head bartenders name is Ace, he's an old friend of mine, he works at the main bar located in the center of the casino. Don't bother name droppin and trying to get him to hook you up, they're monitored like crazy and a couple people have gotten fired from there for hooking their buddies/girls up.
There's also a Chickie and Petes inside there but it doesn't look or feel like a C N P.

I'm not down for clubbin'. Maybe some crab fries and blackjack. Would be tonight after dinner if at all.

That place wasn't too bad. Decent poker room and table games (as long as you stick with the basics like bj and craps). If Parx is nicer, that's good enough for me.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Found a sick rate at Caesars and am heading back in November. The weekend the Eagles would theoretically be playing the Arizona Kolbinals. Good times.

Rome

Ive been there a few times.

Churchills is a cool Brit pub.   Probably the best bar in the city.  Kevin Barry's is Irish with no tv's.   Just a traditional drinking bar.

There's a sports bar there but I can't remember the name.    There's a million bars to choose from, actually.

several different people have told me its kinda like a mini new orleans...is that fair?

i dont mean mardi gras...i mean the city of new orleans in general...like if there were no people in either place...the way its a walking town and the general feel you have when there as far as its aura...more than one person has told me it reminds them of new orleans

It's an old historic southern city just like New Orleans but it doesn't come close to the culture, though.  New Orleans is the strangest place I've ever been.  Awesome, but strange, like there's something sinister going on around every corner.

Savannah's what we refer to as a "cool hang".   Get a nice hotel, eat some good food, party at some decent bars (which are clustered in about a five square block district off the river).

It's definitely walkable and the weather should be decent in June.
