Any reports on the best places to stay/gamble and get comped would be helpful. If Bally's is one of the better ones, that's fine with me due to the great location. Plus, I was a winner at the Paris casino as well AND met Freddie Mitchell and his tasty tall white girlfriend.

Can't really go wrong with the value for the money at Bill's, though. I'd stay there again fo sho.

Any of the Harrah's properties will comp you pretty well, FF. I go down to AC probably on average every 4 months and I get free room offers for AC and Vegas for most of their properties (or really reduced rates)

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Is that because of what you spend or because you become a member with that card where they track your gambling?

Seems like a good thing to do...but I don't gamble much. So...not sure if I would be treated as a preferred guest.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

Id be surprised if Phreak comes back not loving the Cosmo. I just came back from a business trip and stayed there for free through my Marriot points.

Slick looking hotel with new modern rooms, tons of cool stores, bars and restaurants on basically every floor. You really cant go wrong in any of the restaurants there.  Comma Ca was ridiculously good. Not to mention you got more of a young crowd where girls are booking their bachelorette parties there left and right. You want to see those chicks you go to the club/bar Marquis in the hotel which is bumpin as well.

They def track what you spend, but i usually play poker and all they do with that is track your time spent at the tables instead of how much you gamble. And since i usually sit at the table for 10+ hours, I get good shtein.

I haven't been to Harrah's in over a year, and I just got a free room offer. It was for the basic rooms, which are okay...but I upgraded to a corner suite. It's still way less than I would pay at a B&B somewhere, and since I'm kicking in for the room, I won't feel obligated to gamble a bunch to continue the offers.

I can't believe it's only 1015. I've been up since 430 Texas time. And I've got about 6 hours left of gambling and drinking tonight.

Killed craps and roulette earlier. I'm chillin' for a minute in the room awaiting my slacker friends.

Cosmo will be on Monday.

Tonight? Who knows. More craps and probably alot of vodka and beer.

Oh yeah.

Susquehanna Birder

Did you put down any prop wagers on the game tonight?

PhillyPhreak54

Yeah, I went to the Hilton yesterday because their prop list is so expansive. I did alot of over/under on catches and yards along with first TD of the game and ones like "will any team score three consecutive times" (bet No and got +160).

I am going to put some more down in a little while.

My boy is staying at The Orleans. Nice place out there off strip. I was on a crap table for 5 hours - that damn thing was on fire. Two guys (back to back) had hour and a half rolls. I quintupled my buy in.

More details when I get home.

Susquehanna Birder

Wow...that's a nice run on craps. Whenever I play I get some yahoo making 80 screwy bets and rolling shtein. Then it passes to me and I'm out in two rolls.

phattymatty

other than getting the pee pee wet,  a fire craps table is my favorite thing in life.

Rome

It's fun to watch people make a killing rolling dice.  farg the house.

PhillyPhreak54

There was so much money on that table during those rolls. And I agree Matt it's awesome.

Table minimums are high this weekend as expected. Ballys tables are all at least 15 and even Bills IP and Osheas are 10+.

Royale is the only strip spot with $5

I made a few more bets on the game too. I took the first score of the game (PIT rush TD) for 5/1 odds. Dig those odds.

What a weekend - I think I slept about 8 hours in 3 days.

Quick review on The Cosmo;

farging awesome.

Any of you who go to Vegas, do yourselves a favor and go there. The ambiance is cool, its got a hip feel to it and the place oozes coolness.

I shot craps there on Monday and continued the killer craps run from the previous two days.

+$700 at their table...and had Vernon Davis and Joey Porter throwing the dice there with us.

There were a lot of players there this weekend. Suh, Revis, Porter, Herremans, Davis, Merriman and a bunch of others.

Their players club, Identity Club, is pretty solid too. You get points for everything. Not just gambling. Every buck you spend there translates to points some how.

I was rated at $120/roll for 4 hours and racked up over 1500 points in that time. That should be enough to get offers for rooms there.
