Third person shooter, but still an RPG. It uses the duck and cover combat style pretty well. It also has a lot of horny space bitches.

I read game informer on the toilet and during smoke breaks when it comes each month

They said it's both, albeit quite thin on the traditional RPG elements

They trimmed out a lot of the RPG stuff. The first game's inventory system was horrible, so they replaced it with something that doesn't take hours to figure out. Now you go out and pick up upgrades from shops or grab it when you're out killing shtein, come back and build it. But if you want to build crap, you have to take your ship out and dig up resources from unexplored planets. If you're lucky you'll find a radio signal to check out before you're bored to death.

If you don't build all the stuff you've collected, you and your henchmen will probably die on the last mission. I cheated and gave myself unlimited resources and still managed to lose one. I probably missed an upgrade for him somewhere in the galaxy. If you've bothered to talk to your henchmen and help them out with their side missions, you'll probably want them all to live.

BioShock 2 looks sweet. Kind of curious to see how the multiplayer part is...

Never tried Gamefly. Bioshock was one of my favorites on the system, so I'd imagine the second one would be pretty solid...but I part of the reason the first one was cool was because it was different. This one sort of has to feel like the first one in many ways, so it won't have that going for it. And the mulitplayer could go either way. Sounds like a nice add-on to goof with, but I haven't heard of anyone buying it because they plan on droping the more dedicated multiplayer shooters for this. I'll probably hold off for a sale and pick it up....which is what I did with the first one. I tend to like games a lot more when I'm not dropping $60 a pop.

I prestiged last night in MW2. It was a big mistake. Although the extra create a class is nice. It's gonna take awhile to get back to 70 and have all the guns again.

i did it, you move up a lot quicker than before Mussa, it just sucks for a bit.

Apparently map packs coming "spring".  As big of a game this is, I'm really surprised they don't release maps quarterly. They would make a killing. I'd buy them all. Instead they make us wait 6 months for 3-4 maps. Then nothing else for the rest of the year and release another zesty COD game with zombies. This series is slowly turning into the Madden series. Angry fans and game developers that don't care.

Makes you appreciate the Halo series. They are still releasing maps for 3.

I just beat BioShock 2 it is not as long as the first.  It was a very good game, wasn't as good as the first but...... that is hard to beat.   It started out slow but the story really picked up towards the end.
